WW2 veterans' trips.
Saturday February 14, 2004
Profits from the British National Lottery are being used to send WW2 service personnel back to their battlefields as part of the forthcoming anniversary celebrations. The £10 million project (over $16 million) will give money to every survivor, will not be means tested and will apply to troops wishing to go to Europe, Africa or Asia. Interested parties can contact the Free veteran's helpline on 0800 169 2277.
