Timothy Tortoise

Timothy, a Tortoise over 160 years old, died this week. Believed to have been born in 1844 (the year a telegraph message was first sent), he served as a mascot on board British ships during the Crimean War and dug himself a special shelter under a patio during bombing raids in the Second World War.
