de Gaulle Wins Poll

A few weeks ago I mentioned a vote to decide The Greatest Frenchmen of All Time. Well, the results are in, and Charles de Gaulle has won, making him the third victor to have been involved with World War 2: wartime leader Winston Churchill won Greatest Britain while the man who put Germany back together again after WW2, Konrad Adenauer, won Greatest German. de Gaulle did a bit of both.
