"Medieval peasants had better teeth"

Toothbrush? Check. Toothpaste? Check. Mouthwash? Check. Dentalfloss? Check. Well, with all that our teeth must be excellent...but according to Professor Wolfgang Arnold, medieval humans had equally good teeth, if not better, thanks to chewing for longer.

Wow how weird … But how come my children eat as slow as grass grows but still they’re teeth are as rotten as old fruit! Well, I suppose wonders never seise!

but by that reckoning, dogs must have better teeth than us… and if their breath is anything to go by, then they’re not doing too well…
then again, medieval peasants only lived till 20-something, so maybe their teeth didn’t have time to rot
