Canada East currently has a review of War on the Home Front: The Diaries of Daniel MacMillan 1914-1927. MacMillan was a Canadian man whose sons travelled abroad to fight in World War One and the diary provides a real insight into how Canadian communities coped as the war waged in Europe.
