Pardons for just about everyone else?

The decision to pardon a group of WW1 soldiers has caused many other cases to be raised. This article discusses renewed efforts to pardon a group of WW2 soldiers, while I’ve seen printed articles going back as far as Lady Jane Grey in the sixteenth century. This must be the 'can of worms' commentators warned about.
