Italian Crackdown on Archaeological Thieves is Working

I found this article from the International Herald and Tribune interesting: it discusses the attempts of Italian police to crackdown on what was once a massive illegal market selling antiquities which had been dug up, sometimes involving mechanical diggers, by the ‘tombaroli’, or tomb robbers.
