Hitler Assassination Story

Friday October 3, 2008
One of the questions I’ve heard about World War 2 is why weren’t there attempts to assassinate Hitler, with the implication that disgruntled Germans should have acted. While this view comes, not from the fact no one tried, but from the quiet reporting, I thought I should post a link to the following article, the story of an attempted assassination of Hitler. I have to make perfectly clear though, that this is a personal account told third hand (the child of a friend of the eyewitness), and should be treated very carefully by anyone writing for marks or exams. I’m posting it simply out of interest, not as academic proof. With those clarifications, I hope you find it interesting.
