Video of Arthur Conan Doyle

Saturday November 15, 2008
Arthur Conan Doyle is best known today for his stories about (now legendary) detective Sherlock Holmes, films of which have gone a long way to influencing how people view Britain of the near past. This week I was alerted to a video of Conan Doyle speaking about both Holmes and his interest in spirituality (his other great modern claim to fame). It’s only short, and is hosted by a website on spirituality which won’t be to everyone’s intellectual taste, but I found it rewarding to see such a famous name from recent history speak. I can't link straight to the video page, but you'll find a link prominently displayed on their homepage.
