More British Documents Online

Saturday December 6, 2008
Three million pages of government papers dating from the Tudor and Stuart era are to go online in a project which promises to be a real boon for historians of limited means to travel. Officially entitled State Papers Online 1509–1714, the project has four phases, one each for 2008 – 2010. Phase one is online now, the domestic papers from 1509 – 1603, covering the highly popular Tudor period. I think you have to pay for access, so really one for dedicated researchers only.
