The Development of Mary

The online part of the Boston Globe (and probably the print edition) has this week published an interview with Miri Rubin, a Professor of Medieval and Early Modern History in London. The interview concerns Rubin’s work on the development of the story of Mary, who in Christianity is the mother of Jesus, and who became a massively important religious figure in European history.
