Google Earth may be fantastic, but I have real nostalgia over the programmes we used to watch in school which showed video shot while flying round historical sites. This is probably why I enjoyed this article from the BBC, in which they chat with an Aerial Archaeologist from Scotland. It's brief, and doesn't give you a great insight into what he does, although he does lean out of open doors a lot, but if you're of a certain age it may make you think 'ah!'
