Just as work has continued on studying the Mary Rose's wood and effects, so progress is being made on the human remains inside. The Telegraph has an article describing some of the results, but the bulk is taken up with news of archers. We have long known that the full time archers of the English military suffered from a range of injuries to their bodies, and these stresses on the spine and shoulders have been identified on some of the Mary Rose bones (judged to be the archers), and this work has further refined the theory.
