We have an annotated gallery of images which narrate the French Revolution, but you can never have enough interesting pictures to look at, so why not take a look at a gallery provided by History Extra (which, slightly strangely, is the website of BBC History Magazine.) The prints all come from the collection of Ferdinand de Rothschild, assembled in the 1890s, and contain overtly critical elements.
