User Submission Form

It would take one Guide decades to cover all of Europe’s long and varied history, and even then there would be readers and historians who disagreed with the content and conclusions. In recognition of this, we encourage readers to submit their own content, be it an essay, a list of kings, a review or an account from their lives. Indeed, ‘oral history’ testimonies are very welcome.

Please consider the following guidelines before submitting:

  • Your text should be no longer than 5000 words.
  • We will edit your spelling and grammer if needed.
  • You must hold the copyright to the work you are submitting.
  • Please remember that not all submissions will be chosen.

Use the form below to submit content for possible inclusion on this site. If chosen, your content will be published with your choice of name and, if appropriate, a link to your site.

By submitting through this form, you grant About.com non-exclusive license to publish the material. Copyright ownership remains with the author, who may also use the material elsewhere.
