1845: Adolphe Sax patents the 'Saxophone'.
1848: The revolutionary June Days begin in Paris as barricades are erected and rioters are shot.
1886: The Bonaparte family (Imperial claimants) and the Orleans family (royal claimants) are banished from France; this is the second time for the Bonapartes.
