Email Your Guide

Like all the Guides at About.com, I'm a real person. You can email me at europeanhistory.guide@about.com.

If you have a question about European history, the best place to start is the forum, where the whole community will be able to help you. You can also mail me on the above address but, as I'm sure you appreciate, I can't reply in depth to essay length questions. I will, however, do my best to find you a suitable resource. Equally, please email me with any comments you have about the site, from criticism to suggestions for resources and subjects - any input is welcome.

Q.How long will you take to reply?

A. All emails will be acknowledged within 24 hours, while answers requiring research will follow a few days later. If you haven't had a reply after forty-eight hours please email again, as this will allow enough time for server problems to clear up.

Q.This link doesn't work.

A.Please email me with any problems you have regarding links. I will check all of my links regularly, and any broken ones will be given forty-eight hours to reappear before they are removed.

Q.You're wrong.

A. History is one of those marvelous subjects where two totally differing opinions can both be correct, provided they are backed up with enough relevant evidence. If you disagree with anything I have written please post in the forum or come along to one of the scheduled chats for a discussion.

Q.You haven't got anything on ****

A.This site is constantly growing, but the European history is a vast subject area and it will take time to cover everything. As such I can only apologise if the material you are looking for is missing, but please bear with me.

Q.I've got a site you haven't listed

A.Do please email me with any site(s) that you think is suitable for inclusion, whether it's a favorite or something you've just found. Equally, if you run, or have just started, your own site, make me aware of it!
