Hungary

Despite division between the Ottoman and Habsburg empires during the 16th century, and later full Austrian dominance, Hungary maintained a separate identity. In 1867 this forced the creation of the dual Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, while 1919 saw the creation of a Hungarian Republic.

White Terror in Hungary
Hosted by OnWar, this short article describes the political and social turmoil that engulfed Hungary between 1919 and 1921, often called the ‘White Terror’. The piece includes material on racial and religious attacks, but it isn’t that well written and will need support from other material.
