In running this site Phil Gyford has taken on a large task: publishing an entry from Samuel Pepys' diary at the same rate it was written: one a day for ten years! Phil started on January 1st 2003 with Pepys' entry from January 1st 1660 and will finish in 2013; consequently, the archive isn't very large at the moment. There's some basic background, but this site is mainly for long-term readers.
