The War of 1812

The War of 1812
A comprehensive site by R Taylor with an excellent introduction to the war. Providing details on the major battles, uniforms and much more, the work may not be scholarly, but it is extensive.
The War of 1812 Web site
This excellent site hosts a large number of articles on the war, as well as re-enactment information and other details such as book reviews. I have linked to the main menu so you can access their animated gif presentation of the Battle of Crysler’s farm!
