Write a Review: Movies set in Europe’s Past

Historical movies can take a lot of effort: getting the costumes right, blurring the language so it isn’t too anachronistic and much more. Of course some filmmakers barely bother, and the results can be very misleading. Here I’m inviting you to review any movie you’ve seen set in Europe’s past, and tell us whether it’s good or bad as entertainment, and whether it’s good or bad at portraying the past. If someone else has already reviewed the film, we still value your opinion. I only ask that if you’re mentioning spoilers, please tell us beforehand; major historical events will not count as spoilers.
