Medieval 'love' Rings

Discovered by metal detectorists in East Sussex, Britain, this pair of gold rings wouldn’t look too out of place in a modern jewellers window (or in a box on Valentine's Day). Inscribed with the latin for ‘my whole heart’, bands of this type would have been relatively common in the fifteenth century.
