Digging for…a village?

A 27 year old British archaeologist is celebrating after finding the remains of a lost medieval village, but it’s not just an academic triumph. He had to spend £32,000 (over $50,000) of his own money to buy the land he though the village was buried under before he could start digging. Congratulations to him and his nerve!
