History by Country

The history of the lands and peoples of Europe, as defined by the modern nation states (e.g. history of Britain, France, Russia). Regions dating from before the current system (e.g. Carthage) can be found in 'History by Era', while institutions covering multiple modern countries (e.g. the Angevin Empire) can be found in both.
